Tau drops hint on club future


Bafana Bafana forward Percy Tau has dropped a hint of where he might be playing his club football next season.

Tau, 24, has impressed in his first season in Europe, despite being sent out on loan to the Belgian second-tier after failing to acquire a work-permit with Premier League side Brighton.

After lifting the Proximus League Player of the Season last week his future, speculation has arisen about his future with his on-loan club Royal Saint-Gilloise missing out on promtion and the UEFA Europa League qualification. 

With chances of playing in the Premier League slim due to his the nations' strict regulations, Tau has reportedly declared his willingness to remain in the country beyond the end of the current season.

"I do not know yet, I do not think about it, I want to finish the season first, if I'd like to stay, yes, it's a big club," Tau said, as per Belgian publication Walfot.
The 2017/18 PSL Player of the Year has directly been involved in 26 goals (13 goals, 13 assists) in 35 games across all competitions.
