PSG put Lyon to the sword

Bruno Génésio's side started the match on the front foot and created two great chances to grab the lead early on. However, Jérémy Morel saw his goal-bound effort kept out by PSG goalkeeper Kevin Trapp, before Sergi Darder fired high and wide from long range.

Lyon were made to rue those missed opportunities to score as PSG went on to claim the lead with their first real attack of the game, Pastore sweeping home from the right-hand side of the six-yard box following Kurzawa's teasing cross into the box.

And Unai emery's men went on to double their advantage ten minutes later, Lucas converting from close range after being teed up by Pastore.

They very nearly added to their lead a few minutes later when Ángel Di María saw his stinging shot strike the crossbar.

However, they didn't have to wait long for their third goal as Ben Arfa netted his first goal for the club with a sweetly struck shot into the top-left corner, Di María providing the assist.

The Parisians picked up where they left off after the break, Kurzawa adding his name to the scoresheet with an angled shot into the bottom-right corner after latching onto Pastore's weighted through-pass.

Lyon didn't give up the fight, however, and went close through efforts from Mathieu Valbuena and Jordan Ferri, before Tolisso headed home from a Christophe Jallet cross to add some respectability to the scoreline.
