O’Loughlin off to Spain

The 29-year-old, who last year spent time in the Democratic Republic of the Congo with Bibey Mutombo at AS Vita, will spend a week each at La Liga clubs, Valencia and Espanyol.

O’Loughlin told KickOff.com just prior to his departure that he has been building up his own personal network and has, as result and with the blessing of SuperSport’s Director of Football Stan Matthews, accepted the invitation by the two Spanish clubs to observe their training sessions and partake information and idea exchanges with other coaches from around the world.

“I am extremely excited about the trip and honoured to have been invited by these two great clubs. Hopefully, I will bring back ideas and skills to impart to the SuperSport academy and others.”

O’Loughlin currently holds a Uefa B coaching licence and has already completed the first section of the Uefa A licence course.
