This comes after he was unexpectedly told by Usuthu last week that he was surplus to requirements alongside midfielders Effort Sithole and Wilford Mathopa.
Should Ntuli sign, he will become the second ex-Usuthu player to turn out for the Durban First Division Coastal Stream outfit.
The other player is midfielder Mdu Nxele who has been offered a two year deal after a season with fellows Durban Stars.
Lions’ newly-appointed coach Kenny Ndlazi says he’s impressed with Ntuli’s performance at training and will see to it that he forms part of the team to challenge for promotion this season.
Meanwhile, Ndlazi has praised departed coach Professor Ngubane “for the wonderful work he did at Nathi.”
“The foundation has been laid and all I’m left to do is tie off the loose ends. I believe this team will be among those challenging strongly for promotion,” says the former Mpumalanga Black Aces and SA U-23 assistant mentor.
