Oparanozie promises attacking football

The forward, who has found goals hard to come by so far, says the Falconets understand the size of the task ahead of them.

"We are expecting a good match because Mexico are a very good team, but we will play more of attacking football than we have ever played," she told KickOffNigeria.com.

"This game is more crucial than any one we have ever played because if we win, we stay till the end and we can be contenders for the trophy."

Oparanozie has seen her goal scoring thunder usurped by fellow striker Francesca Ordega, but says the team comes first.

"The dream if any attacker is to score goals, but when you dont score, you work for others and you even get more the credit from there.

"The most important thing is for the team to win, it doesn't matter who scores."

The game comes up at 7:45am Nigerian time and is live on SuperSport.
