The young anchorman reveals that he will be going back to the Netherlands for trials and will also try his luck in Sweden.

Ngobeni says he hopes he can get it right this time around after trials in the Netherlands earlier did not yield anything positive.

_quote “I cannot reveal the names of the teams that I will be having trials at, but I can confirm that I will be leaving at the end of the month for Holland and Sweden.

“I am excited at the opportunity and am hopeful of securing a move this time,” Ngobeni tells KickOff.com.

Although the 20-year-old is confident of securing a move to Europe, the 2006/07 Premier Soccer League Young Player of the Season is worried that a knee injury could work against his ambitions.

He picked up the injury during the drawn Cape Town derby against cross-city rivals Santos, earlier this month.

“I am still feeling pain in my knee. I first thought it was nothing serious, but now I am worried as it comes when I am due to go overseas.”

The highly rated Amaglug-glug midfielder had unsuccessful trials at Ajax’s mother club Ajax Amsterdam during the last off-season.

No sooner had the Johannesburg-born player recovered from a knee injury that setback his national team career then a botched up operation on an injured toe lengthened his spell on the sidelines.

“The 2007/08 season is one I need to forget in a hurry because of injuries,” he says.
