The Clever Boys have been leaking goals at the back in recent times and it’s affected their title challenge. At one point they were looking comfortable at the top of the standings while other clubs were chasing them, but they now have to come from behind to try usurp current leaders Sundowns.

Wits take on second-placed Orlando Pirates at Bidvest Stadium, knowing that a victory would take them back to the top of the standings.

"Coach Hunt is one of those people who pride themselves in defending [well]. I'm sure he's not impressed by this current form. He is that coach who takes 1-0 and go, [but] things will be back normal," Allie says.

Allie, who won the Absa Premiership title with the Clever Boys in 2016/17, feels that the race at the moment involves the top four teams – Sundowns, Pirates, Wits

"I wouldn't want involve my self on that debate but it a tough one, I feel like it a four horses race, it very tough to predict."
