Reports earlier this week suggested Napoli boss Rafa Benitez was interested in bringing the maverick forward back to Italy after a difficult start to his Reds career.
The former Inter and Manchester City frontman has struggled on his return to England, scoring just two goals in the 12 appearances he has made for his new club since joining from Milan in the July transfer window.
However Napoli sporting director Riccardo Bigon has rejected speculation linking ‘Super Mario’ with a move to the Partenopei.
"It's a rumour told in Spain, England and Italy but I don't think it is a possibility," Bigon told Mediaset.
"Nothing of what has been posted is true.
"Mario Balotelli is a really great player but he has been just signed by Liverpool who belives a lot in him.
"Best wishes to him in his English adventure."
