Musasa will only miss eight matches

Mwamba-Musasa was found guilty by the PSL’s Disciplinary Committee on charges of misconduct relating to unsportsmanlike behavior and assault. This follows an incident on May 24 in the promotion play-off match between Carara Kicks and Mpumalanga Black Aces where his challenge on Buti Ngulube resulted in the Kicks’ player suffering a transverse fracture of the right tibia and fibula.   The player was fined R100 000, of which R90 000 was suspended for 12 months. He was also suspended for four months, which is effective as of June 9.   But with June being an off-season and July pre-season, Mwamba-Musasa will only miss August and September of PSL action. And according to the PSL calendar, August will be mainly made up of Telkom Charity Cup and MTN8. There will be one week of international soccer and only four League matches that he will miss in August.   In September, there will only be three League matches, with the rest of the month filled with international calendar and one weekend of MTN8. The last match that Mwamba-Musasa will miss will be the eighth game of the League played on the first week of October.   Kickoff.com tried to contact the Zola Majavu, who was not available for comment.
