Musa: We not afraid of Argentina

The Super Eagles must avoid defeat against the Albicelesti, or hope Bosnia-Herzegovina do them a favour against Iran, in order to seal their progression into the Last 16, and their CSKA Mocow striker feels his side can get all three points in their titanic match-up.

"Argentina have a great team and players, same with us,” Musa told AfricanFootball.com.

“We are not afraid of them, it will be a clash of giants, it’s a game we can win and that we will play for and pray God crown our efforts.”

Team mate Juwon Oshaniwa is looking forward to a good game against the Argentineans, yet insists his side will not solely target star forward Lionel Messi in the encounter.

"I am looking forward to a good, sound and successful game against Argentina,” said the Nigerian left-back.

“It’s not all about Messi, name doesn't play football but it is what players and team bring forth on match day, we are ready to make ourselves and Nigerians proud against Argentina.”

And fellow defender Efe Ambrose agrees.

"We are not thinking of how to stop Messi,” said the Celtics man.

“We are playing Argentina, who have 11 good players, we are equal to the task.

“It’s going to be a battle and we are good to go as our spirit is very high.”
