The former SA Under-23 international player discloses that his manager Ryan Hartslief will be meeting with United and Arrows’ management regarding his transfer.
“I have two years remaining on my Arrows contract. I hope I don’t encounter any snags because I really want to move on with my football.
“Everything has been going right here at SuperSport since I arrived here last week. I think I’m doing well at training, though the coach has not said anything to me. I am just hopeful that things go my way,” Mshengu tells KickOff.com.
The player was in and out of action at Arrows during the latter stages of the past campaign. He was granted permission to look for a team of his choice last week.
Should Mshengu sign for the league champions, he will compete with Elias Pelembe and Anthony Laffor for the right wing slot.
Tekane “Shoes” Ledimo, another Arrows’ player, is still trying to impress Gavin Hunt at training. Hunt is a long-time admirer for the left-footed winger since his days at Moroka Swallows.
Meanwhile, right back Sakhile Mhlangu has extended his Abafana Bes’thende stay for two seasons.
Disclosing the developments, Mhlangu said: “I am happy to be staying at Arrows. I almost left but after sitting down with sis Mato [Madlala], I saw it wise to continue my career here at Arrows.”
