Masondo, who excelled during the Nedbank Cup earlier this year, has been reported to be the subject of a move to either Golden Arrows or Maritzburg United, but Aces appear reluctant to release him.
The Mpumalanga born midfielder confirmed to KickOff.com that he has already met with Amazayoni management to try and get his release before his contract expires in 2013.
“Both Maritzburg United and Golden Arrows have shown great interest in signing me but Aces have been reluctant to release me.
“I signed a new contract in June that expires in 2013 and now it is difficult to move to another team.
“We are still talking and hopefully they will agree to release me to play in PSL in January next year.”
Meanwhile, Aces PRO Thabo Moroape tells KickOff.com that judgment in the case involving goalkeeper Michael Babale and assistant coach, Cyprian Maimane will be delivered tomorrow.
Both members of the team appeared before club Disciplinary Committee yesterday.
Babale and Maimane are currently serving suspensions imposed by the club after they exchanged blows in the dressing rooms during the First Division league game against FC AK which was played at Atlantic Stadium recently.
