Mashego leaves for Sweden on Friday


Mashego has confirmed his departure to and said the trials will last for 10 days.

“This is a lifetime opportunity and I’m ready to grab it with both hands. I am very excited about the whole trip and I am confident that I will do well and will not return to play in South Africa next season.”

SuperSport United have already lost the services of striker Kermit Erasmus, who is also set to leave the country in the first week of July to rejoin his team, Feyenoord, in Holland

Midfielder Daine Klate has told that he is still waiting for a date before jetting out of the country for his trials in Portugal next month.

Meanwhile, former Jomo Cosmos striker Anthony Laffor began training with Matsatsantsa yesterday after arriving in the country from Liberia on Monday.

Laffor signed a three-year-contract with United last season, but could not join the Tshwane-based outfit as he was still contracted to Jomo Cosmos.

Coach Gavin Hunt is still to decide on Ezenkosi midfielder Lucky Mhlathe and a Mozambican defender who are both undergoing trials at the Absa Premiership champions.
