According to a report in today’s Swaziland Times, the seven who joined the squad in yesterday’s first training session at the Prince of Wales Stadium include the Royal Leopards’ pair of Mzwandile ‘Zoo’ Mamba and Mfanzile ‘Fash’ Dlamini, Manzini Wanderers pint-sized attacking-midfielder Timothy ‘Ma-Drips’ Mathonsi, Midas City’s Bhekisisa Shongwe, Young Buffaloes’ keeper Thabiso Mkhize and US-based Mhlambanyatsi Rovers player Lwazi ‘Zidane’ Maziya.
Another player who is set to join the squad upon arrival on July 17 is US-based Mbabane Swallows goal-poacher Mfanafuthi ‘Taribo’ Bhembe.
Accordingly to the Times, Mashaba held a 90 minute session in which he placed emphasis on physical fitness while concentrating on stringing passes together and defending.
Players who were present were the likes of Njabuliso Simelane, Sihawu Dlamini, Raphael Ntimane, Absalom Dlamini, Djemba Dlamini, Zakhele Manyatsi, Dennis Fakudze and Phinda Dlamini.
Others were Karas Dlamini, Colleen Salelwako, Bheki Mavuso, Gcina ‘Kwere’ Mazibuko, Malungisa Dlamini and Stopper Mthethwa.
