Rashford hands United advantage

A second-half Marcu Rashford free-kick put United in the driving seat with a crucial away goal ahead of their second leg fixture at Old Trafford next week.

Jose Mourinho's side lined up with Marcus Rashford as a lone frontman with a trio of Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Paul Pogba and Jesse Lingard just behind.

The English outift dominated proceedings with first-half chances falling for Rashford, Mkhitaryan and Lingard but Cekta goalkeeperĀ Sergio Alvarez kept his team in the game.

Sergio Romero was eventually called into action around the hour mark as he tippedĀ Pione Sisto's shot over the bar after it looped up off Antonio Valencia's leg.

Rashford eventually found the break through in the 67th minute after he was brought down on the edge of the area, and then stepped up curl his free-kick into the back of the net.
