The Team of Choice have won twice in five matches since Eric Tinkler took over, and will be looking to upset Sundowns at Harry Gwala Stadium tonight (19h30).

“Maritzburg game is always an entertaining game whenever we are there. I think we are playing them at the wrong time. We could have played them while they were on a low. Now they are fighting for their lives and when you playing at team that is surviving for their lives it’s the most dangerous,” Mosimane said.

“Sometimes they can make mistakes because they are depserate to prove a point or to win, but sometimes they can get something out of the situation they are in because sometimes you need. You must tread carefully when you are there and treat them with respect. They need a win more than we need a win. Whenever you meet a team that needs a win more than you, they have more heart, more belief, more fight. So if we can match the fight, we should be able to do it right.”

A victory for Sundowns would put them three points ahead of current leaders Orlando Pirates, and it would give them confidence going into this weekend’s CAF Champions League clash against Moroccan outfit Wydad Casablanca in Rabat.

“If we really want to be on top of the league and be in it, we should win it. There’s no other time. These are the games that we have to play to catch up with the log. We must try win these kind of games and go to Wydad with confidence.”
