The five-day accredited Management and Leadership programmes will be delivered by Liverpool FC coaches and LSBF management tutors at the High Performance Centre in Johannesburg, Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban and Cape Town Stadium.
Participants on the programme will explore the valuable transferable skills that sport coaching can bring to the business world and will gain a privileged insight into the management theories and strategies of Liverpool FC, current leaders of the English Premier League. Furthermore, LFC E.L.I.T.E.S programme participants have been granted exclusive access to the iconic stadium pitches for their practical sessions.
The LFC E.L.I.T.E.S initiative is proud to announce LFC legend Ian Rush as our very special guest on the programme. Liverpool FC’s highest goalscorer of all time said: “This collaboration between Liverpool FC and London School of Business & Finance is like nothing I’ve come across before. The programme is a great opportunity for participants to develop and learn more about business and management through football tactics, practices and philosophies.”
LFC E.L.I.T.E.S Managing Director Nicola Schaefer added: “South Africa is an inspiring country where people understand business, recognise the importance of education and development opportunities and have great respect for Liverpool Football Club; we are delighted to be delivering the LFC E.L.I.T.E.S programme here”.
The first Management and Leadership programme kicks off at the High Performance Centre in Johannesburg on October 7 before moving on to Durban, Cape Town and back to Johannesburg for the final five-day leg of the South African tour.
