Ligue 1: Mbappe saves PSG's blushes

Toulouse 0-1 Paris Saint Germain

Champions-elect Paris Saint-Germain were made to sweat for a slim 1-0 win away to Toulouse in the late kick off.

For large parts of the game, Toulouse fought hard for a result but a well-taken 74th minute finish from French World Cup winner Kylian Mbappe separated the two sides.

The league leaders stretch their lead at the top to an impressive 20 points off second-place LOSC Lille, while Toulouse remain in 14th spot.

Amiens 0-0 Bordeaux

Amiens failed to boost their relegation woes with a goalless draw at home to Bordeaux on Sunday afternoon.

Though the result moves Amiens one spot from 17 to 18th, their demotion worries remain with Bordeaux stuck in 13th place.

AS Monaco 0-1 Caen

Caen moved off the bottom of the standings with a narrow 1-0 win over fellow strugglers Monaco at the Stade de la Licorne.

A goal from Enzo Crivelli after 23 minutes moved Fabien Mercadal’s side to 18th place, two spots of Monaco in 16th spot who are brought back to earth after their win over LOSC Lille last time out.

Dijon 0-1 OGC Nice

Ten-man Dijon moved to the bottom of the table after a 1-0 defeat to Nice at the Stade Gaston Gerard.

After a goalless first half, Pierre Lees-Melou struck gold on 60 minutes to keep their European hopes alive.

Five minutes later, Frederic Sammaritano saw red for a second bookable offence, as Nice jump two places from ninth to seventh.

Nantes 2-3 LOSC Lille

Lille got back to winning ways with an entertaining 3-2 victory over Nantes at the Stade Louis Fonteneau.

With no goals in the first half, Nantes raced into a two-goal lead through a penalty from Valentin Eysseric on 54 minutes and a strike from Kalifa Coulibaly two minutes later.

Lille soon put matters into perspective through Rafael Leao on 62 minutes followed by Nicolas Pepe six minutes later, leaving Jonathan Bamba to fire the winner two minutes later.
