The two Tshwane rivals meet again this weekend for the second leg at the same venue.
While conceding that the Brazilians gave them a tough game, Klate says their opponents were lucky to score their two goals which were due to defensive errors.
“It is not over for us yet and I am confident that victory will go our way this weekend,” says the Port Elizabeth starm, who gave his former teammate Siboniso Gaxa a torrid time in the weekend clash.
Gaxa was replaced by Vuyo Mere towards the end of the second half.
“I’ve been up against him many times at training while he was at SuperSport and it was always tough for both of us when facing each other.”
Mamelodi Sundowns’ defender, Robyn Johannes, who earned his second Man-of-the-Match award in the competition, has warned Matsatsantsa that they will have to double their efforts in the second leg.
“With the team that we have, I am confident that we will qualify for the finals.”
Sundowns will be without the services of striker Sibusiso Zuma because of the red card he picked up yesterday.
