Khenyeza for Ajax?

Isaacs, a versatile defender who can also play in midfield, is rated highly by Chiefs coach Muhsin Ertugral who wanted to take him with to Chiefs when he left Ajax at the end of 2006/07.

Isaacs has also made it known that he wants a fresh challenge after being in Cape Town his whole career.

Khenyeza is not seeing eye to eye with Ertugral, and after his personal problems kept him away from Chiefs' camp during the Vodacom Challenge, Amakhosi are likely to agree to this deal.

But nothing has been confirmed yet and while negotiations materialise, will keep you informed.

Ertugral had this to say; “I have heard a lot of things about Mabhuti Khenyeza and to be quite honest with you I don’t see him playing for Kaizer Chiefs again. If he was a Chiefs player he would be here with us preparing for the new season, but he is not. And to be quite honest with you I have always backed Mabhuti even though his form was up and down.

“Yes there talks, but it is still at a very early stage and Mabhuti Khenyeza must agree to it. I will be happy to take on a player of Dominic Isaac’s quality.”
