Kaizer Chiefs star Khama Billiat could make a sensational u-turn on his recent decision to retire from international football.
Billiat could even return to international duty ahead of the 2021 Afcon finals in Cameroon despite a decision to retire from international at the end of Zimbabwe’s disastrous World Cup qualifying campaign.
Billiat chose to quit the Warriors just seven weeks before the Afcon finals which will run from January 9 to February 6 with Zimbabwe grouped with Guinea, Malawi, and tournament favourites Senegal.

However, reports emanating from across the Limpopo River suggest that plans are being made to convince him to play at the Afcon with a delegation from Zimbabwe due to engaging him in that regard.
The 31-year-old has been part of the Warriors for the past decade growing into an influential figure in the national setup.
Former Kaizer Chiefs forward Knowledge Musona is also expected to call time on his international career.
According to The Herald, Warriors team manager Wellington Mpandare, management are hoping to have progressive talks with the Kaizer Chiefs forward who has already played at two Afcon finals.
Billiat has already been named in the provisional squad of 40 players which was sent to CAF for the tournament by ZIFA on November 15, which was the submission deadline.
Part of the true reason why Billiat walked away from the national team is related to the chaos that defines every camp.
At present The Warriors are without a coach following the expiry of Norman Mapeza’s short term contract which he entered with the ZIFA board suspended by the Sports and Recreation Commission last month.
Billiat has been influential with 10 goal contributions in 13 appearances this term which has helped lift AmaKhosi to second place on the standings.
