Chiefs recently signed Frosler from Gauteng rivals Bidvest Wits as they looked to solidify their right-back position, which currently has Moleko, Ramahlwe Mphahlele and the injured Joseph Molangoane.
The 21-year-old has already established himself in the PSL since making his debut for Wits in January 2017 under Gavin Hunt, and was last year introduced to the Bafana Bafana setup.
Moleko, though, is not threatened by Frosler’s arrival and instead believes it bodes well for the club.
“For me, I think Reeve is young and he deserves to be here. I got my chances over the years, even though I didn’t play [much], I’d say Reeva is a good player and I’m happy that such good players are coming in that can add value at the club,” said Moleko.
“It’s not all about me and who else is here, I think it will be much better if everyone gets a chance.
“I know Reeva comes from a good team – Wits is a good team, but sometimes you need to learn and it’s not all about today.
“So, I think I’m happy that he’s here and it’s good to have quality players [come into the team] because competition is a healthy thing for the club to move forward.”
