Kgatla not moving

The report said that Kgatla was looking to move to one of the Gauteng-based clubs, with either Kaizer Chiefs or Orlando Pirates his next destination.

However, the Tzaneen-born midfielder, who remains the longest serving member of the Tycoons, has re-affirmed his loyalty and commitment to the Miguel Gamondi-coached side that finished 10th in the Absa Premiership last season.

“I heard the rumours and then even heard it being announced on TV yesterday morning. That is totally untrue; my contract with Platinum Stars expires in 2009 and I want honour it.”

Meanwhile, Stars’ CEO Larry Brookstone tells that they are ready to listen to offers for Swazi midfielder Wonder Nhleko who did not see much action last season.

“Wonder Nhleko is not part of the players that have been released, but we are presently looking at the possibility of releasing him if he wants to go.”

Nhleko is being linked with a move to Moroka Swallows next season.
