Swallows add youth international

Youth international Katlego Mohamme has joined Swallows FC despite having previously signed for Mamelodi Sundowns.

Mohamme signed a three-year deal with an option of a further two years with Sundowns prior to heading out to the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

However, in a turn of events, Mohamme has instead agreed to a deal with Swallows.

There had also been keen interest in the defender from fellow DStv Premiership sides, Baroka and TS Galaxy.

Mohamme featured in two of South Africa's three group matches at the Olympics after impressing at GladAfrica Championship outfit the University of Pretoria last season.

The in-demand player was spotted in a team picture shared by the Dube Birds who unveiled a squad of so-far 37 players.

Swallows have so far recruited Yagan Sasman from Kaizer Chiefs, Mwape Musonda, Austin Mawowo with Tebogo Langerman, Jody February and Keletso Makgalwa coming in from Sundowns.
