Tembo is hoping that a few weeks' break will give striker Bradley Grobler and defender Clayton Daniels a chance to recover in time for the final stretch of the season.
"We had very good momentum but at the same time I think [the break] might help us as well as we don't have a big squad, to give us an opportunity to have our players recuperating especially Brad [Grobler]. You can see he is back from injury and has been playing with some pain," said Tembo.
"So [the break] will give him a bit of time to recover and rest. The same applies to Clayton [Daniels]. They are all going through pain and this will give us a little bit of time to recover and be ready for the next games, it's big."
After starting the league season on a low note, Matsatsantsa have picked themselves up and joined the race for the Absa Premiership title.
SuperSport are fifth on the log, four points behind leaders Mamelodi Sundowns, and have a chance to close that gap when they meet in a Tshwane derby at Loftus Stadium on April 7.
However, that match is set to be postponed due to Sundowns' quarter-final clash against Al Ahly in the CAF Champions League on the same weekend.
