Neeskens positive after conceding three at home

Sundowns failed to capitalise on their home advantage on Saturday, conceding three in a 3-3 draw at Lucas Moripe Stadium.

The Brazilians now need a straight win against the Dube Birds in Soweto if they hope to qualify for the MTN8 Final.

"It's not yet over," Neeskens insists. "We are still there. It is still 50-50 for both teams and we can score three goals and create many chances away from home, why not"

"We just have to learn from our mistakes and make sure that we don't commit the same mistakes again, and also make sure that with the chances we create we score more goals."

But Neeskens must be worried about his leaky defence, which forced the team to come back from behind three times.

Downs were trailing 2-1 at half-time, and Neeskens says: "I think in second half we played better than the first.

"We scored three and created three of four big chances, from Clayton Daniels, Edward Manqele and Thami Sangweni at the end.

"We conceded the third goal again, the childish one ... I think that was poor defending," he concludes.
