Karjean, who hit the headlines a few years ago when he plotted Bucs’ famous 3-1 victory over Kaizer Chiefs using six defenders, has applied for the vacant post at Bloemfontein Celtic.
Speaking to KickOff.com from France, the former Bucs coach says he is looking forward to joining any team, either in the First Division or the PSL this coming season.
"I love South Africa and made a lot of friends during my stay in the country few years ago. I would love to come back and coach in South Africa. My people are making contact with some of the teams in the country and I am available after my contract with Stade Brestois where I spent the past three years coaching expired recently."
Abbie Rasimphi of June Sixteen Sports Management company confirms that they are trying to secure a team for Karjean in South Africa.
"We are talking to a few teams, but at this stage can't mention their names," he says.
