That is the opinion of Los Meringues coach Carlo Ancelotti, who has benefitted from the 21-year-old’s excellent start to the season.
Bought during the transfer window for €30-million, Isco has netted four goals in five La Liga matches, as well as a number of assists.
That has drawn comparisons to Real legend and current assistant coach Zidane, and Ancelotti says those comparisons are justified.
“Comparing Isco to Zidane is not a bad thing. He is very close to Zidane with their ability,” the Italian says.
“They have a lot of similarities. Zidane is obviously in a better position to judge and he said Isco isn't there yet, but said he could come close in the future.”
