Cuper: Egypt to stick to game plan

The Egyptians have not exactly set Gabon alight over the past few weeks, scoring just four goals on their way to the final.

However, the Pharaohs’ defence has proved almost impenetrable, having conceded just once - in the semi-final win over Burkina Faso - and while Cuper is aware of the criticism around their lack of attacking intent, the coach is more concerned with seeing the job out.

"Egypt will not be very different to what we have seen so far, whether people like that or not, whether that means we will be attacking or not," Cuper told reporters.

"What we will be looking for is a result and up to now we have had results."
