Gorowa a favourite in AmaZulu's coaching search

News

Under Palmgren Usuthu have picked up just one point in their opening five matches this season.

Gorowa is without a job at the moment, following the expiry of his contract at Mamelodi Sundowns where he served as chief scout. He was also assistant and acting head coach during his time at Chloorkop.

Word reaching KickOff.com is that Usuthu have initiated early talks with prospective candidates and Gorowa has emerged as a favourite, as the club would prefer a man who has played and coached locally to take over.

The 40-year-old is a players' coach with an astute understanding of the game.

After being forced to cut short his playing career at Cape Town Spurs over a decade ago, Gorowa spent two years as a development coach at Ajax Cape Town before being promoted to assistant coach – a position he held for three years before moving to Swallows.
