The Zimbabwean did not make the team that visited Golden Arrows in Durban at the weekend.
Speaking to KickOff.com after Saturday’s clash, a disappointed Mushangazhike said: “It is never nice to be excluded from the playing team. I think the coach is not happy with certain things that I need to improve on before selecting me. I am going to work hard so that I get a chance to help my team.”
Given his massive experience, a lot will be expected from ‘Gidza’ this season given his far from impressive performance last season.
Meanwhile, midfielder Thembile Kanono tells KickOff.com that he believes that Pirates need time to gel.
“The coach is still trying out his combinations. I believe it’s just a matter of time before we click.”
