Borussia Dortmund 2-0 Wolfsburg

Borussia Dortmund moved two points clear at the top of the Bundesliga table after sinking Wolfsburg 2-0 on Saturday afternoon at Signal Iduna Park.

In a match that was seemingly heading for a goalless draw, Paco Alcacer was the hero for Dortmund as he broke the deadlock in the first minute of stoppage time and confirmed the three points with another goal three minutes later.

Freiburg 1-1 Bayern Munich

Bayern Munich had to settle for the share of the spoils and lost some ground in the title race after a 1-1 stalemate with Freiburg on Saturday at Schwarzwald Stadion.

Lucas Höler opened the scoring for the hosts in the third minute and although Robert Lewandowski levelled matters for the Bavarians in the 22nd minute.

They find themselves two points behind rivals Borussia Dortmund on the table, who snatched two late goals for all the three points at the death against Wolfsburg.

Fortuna Düsseldorf 3-1 Borussia Monchengladbach

Three first half goals from Fortuna Düsseldorf were too much for Borussia Monchengladbach to overhaul as they succumbed to a 3-1 defeat on Saturday afternoon.

Rouwen Hennings netted a brace in the first half while Kevin Stöger got another to lead Fortuna to a 3-0 cushion going to the break, while Monchengladbach got a consolation goal seven minutes before time thanks to Denis Zakaria.

Nürnberg 3-0 Augsburg

Nürnberg netted all three goals in the second stanza as they sinked Augsburg 3-0 on Saturday afternoon at Max Morlock Stadion.

Mikael Ishak broke the deadlock for the hosts seven minutes after the break while Matheus Pereira made the three points safe two minutes before time. Uduard Lowen rounded off the scoring in the first minute of stoppage time to inflict further pain on Augsburg.

Werder Bremen 3-1 Mainz

Maximilian Kruse netted a brace for Werder Bremen in their 3-1 win over Mainz on Saturday afternoon at Weserstadion.

Milot Rashica grabbed the lead for Bremen as early as the third minute and Kruse made it 2-0 for the hosts nine minutes before the break.

Robin Quaison pulled a goal back for Mainz seven minutes after the break but it was not to be for the visitors as Kruse sealed the three points in the 63rd minute.

RB Leipzig 5-0 Hertha Berlin

Yussuf Poulsen scored a hat-trick as RB Leipzig thrashed Hertha Berlin 5-0 on Saturday evening at Red Bull Arena.

Emil Forsberg got the opener for Leipzig in the 17th minute and Poulsen took over from there, netting in the 27th, 56th and 62nd minute to complete his hat-trick.

Amadou Haidara made it 5-0 for the hosts with 25 minutes to play in the second half.
