Manqana says he will soon return to thrill the fans the way he has always done, after being handed his clearance at Pirates after a disastrous six-month stay, in which he made just one substitute appearance.
"I am just glad that I am in a position that allows me to join any team of my choice," Manqana says.
"I have someone working on something for me and it will not be long before I am back giving people the entertainment that brings them to the stadiums.
"Right now I am sweating it out at Virgin Active every day preparing myself for my next job because I want to be ready when I sign.
"This situation of being clubless is not what you want as a player but I am being strong about it as I know very well that I will soon be back doing a job somewhere.
"I just want to get back to playing football again because I haven't played as much as I would have really wanted to in recent times," Manqana says.
Prior to his departure from Pirates, AmaZulu had been keen on signing Manqana, but their interest has waned.
