Fans tip Sundowns, AmaZulu final


The tournament is part of King Zwelithini’s 60th Jubilee celebrations and proceeds from the event will be donated to various charity organisations in Kwazulu\Natal.

According to tournament spokesman, Nhlanhla Mtaka the Brazilians will lock horns with the Students at 12h00 after the first semifinal involving AmaZulu and their hometown rivals Thanda Royal Zulu which is set for 10h00.

Mtaka said the gates at Absa Stadium will open at 08h00 and entrance fee is R50 for both juveniles and adults.

The Kings Cup Charity tournament has already created excitement among soccer fans, the majority of whom are tipping a final between Sundowns and AmaZulu.

These two teams are also set to meet in an Absa Premiership league fixture at Atteridgeville’s Super Stadium the following weekend.
