Bellos won a decision at the PSL DRC on December 21 last year but then Eagles immediately appealed the ruling thus escalating the matter to the national mother body.
Francesco Ferreiri of Ellis Coll Attorneys, who represents Bellos, tells KickOff.com they are now awaiting the date for the hearing.
“This matter is now with the SAFA Appeals Board and the hearing is imminent,” says Ferreiri.
Bellos was axed at Eagles – where he worked as a general manager – last year just a few months into the job along with Khabo Zondo. He then took his case to the PSL DRC citing unfair dismissal.
Meanwhile, Bellos is already looking ahead to a new challenge with another club.
KickOff.com has been told that he has had offers from a Greek club which he opted against taking, and has set his sights on linking with another PSL club.
Bellos has also worked for Polokwane City in recent times.
