Marseille returned to winning ways with a slim victory at home to Bordeaux in Tuesday's only Ligue 1 encounter.

The visitors were reduced to ten men in the 24th minute when Samuel Kalu was given a straight red, before Boubacar netted the only goal of the game just before the break.

Croix Football IC 0-3 Dijon

Dijon eased into the next round of the French Cup with a 3-0 victory over Croix Football IC.

 Júlio Tavares, Florent Balmont and Wesley Said got the goals for the visitors.

Metz 0-1 Orleans

Quentin Lecoeuche's 20th minute penalty was enough to hand second tier side Orleans a 1-0 win over Metz.

Nantes 2-0 Toulouse

First-half goals from Kalifa Coulibaly and Anthony Limbombe guided Nantes to a 2-0 victory over Toulouse at the Stade de la Beaujoire - Louis Fonteneau.

Bastia 2-2 Caen (Caen won on penalties)

Caen needed penalties to overcome Bastia and secure their spot in the next round of the cup.

Malik Tchokounté's early strike was cancelled out by Louis Poggi's strike in the 70th minute.

The clash went to extra-time, where Casimir Ninga restored Caen's lead before Benjamin Santelli equalised in the 117th minute to send the match to penalties, where the visitors triumphed 5-3.
