Ertugral has confirmed that he will be leaving soon after their Absa Premiership game against Mamelodi Sundowns at Loftus Stadium on Sunday and will be away for a week.
He adds that Fani Madida will remain in charge of the team during his absence.
“My father-in-law, who is 78-years-old, has been very ill and has been hospitalised in Germany. My wife is concerned about her father’s situation and we need to be at his side.
“Fortunately we are not playing next week and it will also be a chance for players to take things easy under Madida.”
Meanwhile, reports are that Kaizer Chiefs are set to start negotiations this week with Shaun Bartlett, Cyril Nzama, Arthur Zwane, Thabo Mooki and Derrick Spencer whose contracts expire at the end of the season.
