This was disclosed by Usuthu publicist Philani Mabaso after the former Germany-based striker failed to make the team during last week’s clash against Platinum Stars.
“Our technical staff has designed a special programme for him as he has not reached the required level of fitness.
“You must remember the guy was out of action for six months after being troubled by back problem. He has also admitted that he’s not happy with his fitness level,” said Mabaso.
He added another forward Collins Tshabalala, signed from Free State Stars, was still nursing a knee injury and will not feature at anytime soon.
Usuthu fans can expect to see Myron Shongwe, Dumisani Ngwenya or Siyabonga Mkhwanazi lead the attack during King’s Charity Cup on Sunday.
