Diale arrives at the modest Cape Town club with loads of experience, having done duty for Platinum Stars and Black Leopards in the PSL before moving to Aces.
Johnny Ferreira, the FC Cape Town coach spoke with optimism about their latest recruit who has signed for two years.
“Since we needed to stabilise the spine of the team, we have to start by recruiting an experienced keeper. In Diale, we have found someone whom I believe will help us very much since we lacked a bit in that department last season. Diale has been with us throughout our pre-season training already.
“Now that we have already firmed up the spine, we can bring in youngsters to play. This season we are aiming at doing better than we did last season,” says Ferreira.
Born in Evaton 33 years ago, Diale spent last season deputising for Michel Babale at Aces before being shown the door.
Though fairly short for a keeper, Diale played most of his football under Owen da Gama at the then Silver Stars.
