Beckham has Messi dream for Miami

Despite Inter Miami still being without a coach, player, stadium or a league spot until 2020, that hasn't stopped the former Manchester United and Real Madrid midfieler from creating a major hype surrounding his latest project.

According to English publication, The Times, the former England captain will sound out the possibility of luring Messi away from the Camp Nou in two years time to lead his new side.

Messi will have one year left on his current contract at the age of 33 and if the move goes through, he'd likely end his career in the United States.

It must be noted the Argentina international has often stated his desire to end his career with the Blaugrana or return to Newell Old Boys.

However, an exciting MLS project led by one of the most recognised sporting figures of all time could tempt the five-time Ballon d'Or winner into a surprise switch.
