Rosslee: We need to dominate at Moses Mabhida

Kick-off is at 6pm.

Despite winning two of their first matches, including a 1-0 win over Orlando Pirates on the opening day of the season – Swallows' first away victory over the Buccaneers in 20 years – Rosslee says he is still looking for improvement from his side.

“We need to improve everywhere, at the back and in the midfield in terms of creating chances,” the coach tells Usuthu’s official website.

“I’d like to defend better; I thought we were nice and organised against Ajax despite making seven changes to the team.

“I would also like to use the width a bit more and up front we continue to work on the finishing.

“I wasn’t happy with the Pirates performance but I thought we did well to go there and get the points and obviously in the Aces game things weren’t being followed out according to what I wanted.

“The guys went out and did the club proud against Ajax and followed exactly what I wanted. Until the last couple of minutes we weren’t really in any danger or any pressure and controlled the game away from home.

“That’s what I want to do; I want to control the game and continue with that.”

Rosslee adds that he is expecting a tough match from the Dube Birds, who have not dropped points in their three matches so far.

“For this game, we know we’re up against a team that is sitting well on the log,” Rosslee says. “They have two good wins and a draw under their belt; they’ve played some good football and they have experienced players.

“We’ve got two results away from home but it’s important now that we come back home and utilise the fort at Moses Mabhida and get our home campaign going.”

AmaZulu's last match at Moses Mabhida was a 2-1 win over English Premier League giants Manchester City.

Namibian duo Sadney Urikhob and Pineas Jacob are ruled out for the clash, the former with a spider or insect bite he suffered on national duty.

Defenders Marc van Heerden and Carlington Nyadombo, who were in action for the Bafana Bafana vs Zimbabwe match, will be assessed ahead of the game.
