Cosmos sign Cameroon striker

News

Botoum joins Cosmos on a three-year contract after he was spotted by club boss Jomo Sono playing for the Cameroon national team during the Beach Soccer tournament in South Africa earlier this year.

Ezenkosi manager Andrew Rabutla tells KickOff.com that Batoum’s papers have been sorted out and that he will be available for selection when the team takes on the University of Pretoria in a First Division game set for Tshwane next week Friday.

“He is a classy player. I think he is going to cause a lot of problems for many teams in the First Division this season.

“The good news is that his work permit has been sorted out and if everything goes well, Batoum will be available for selection when we play against University of Pretoria next week.”

Cosmos, who were relegated from the PSL last season, are presently occupying position four in the First Division Inland Stream.
