The hosts, Silindokuhle High School from Pinetown, claimed third spot with a 3-2 victory over Free State’s HTS Louis Botha High School.

However, the glory belonged to Clapham, an academy that belongs to Premier Soccer League side Mamelodi Sundowns. Former Sundowns stars Isaac Shai and Godfrey Sapula coached the team.

Clapham had a comfortable journey towards the finals, easily brushing aside Sikhulule 3-0, Silindokuhle 1-0, Sikhulule 4-0 once again and Benny Sports Academy 1-0. They secured a spot in the finals by walloping HTS Louis Botha 5-1 to meet against Robinvale.

Notha Ngcobo bagged himself a brace before Modise Malebogo and Buhle Mfodololo added their names on the score-sheet to ensure that the Tshwane-based school wrapped up their three-day tournament in an emphatic fashion.

Clapham dominated the awards section, with Shai scooping the Coach of the Tournament, Khulekani Kubheka the Goalkeeper of the Series and Notho Ngcobo the Player of the Tournament.
