Chiefs want Djiehoua to sign new deal

The bulky Ivorian says Chiefs have been in constant contact with him and his agent, with a view to tying him to a deal for next season. His current contract with Thanda ends in June.

Chiefs are aware of interest in Djiehoua from local clubs and the speculation that he could try his luck in Turkey, Denmark and Belgium.

“Chiefs have asked me to come to Johannesburg to start negotiations for a new contract. I have since told them that Thanda are also keen to keep me, but nothing has been finalised.

“I will decide soon on what I am doing about my future because I want to go back home knowing where I will be playing next season,” says Djiehoua, whose 10 goals contributed immensely to Thanda’s survival last season.
