According to Turkish newspaper Fanatik, Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is a big fan of Emenike’s, and after watching him at the World Cup, has decided to try and get him in the club books.
Emenike, who has helped Nigeria reach the last 16 of the World Cup has had a good season for Fenerbahce scoring 12 goals with nine assists.
He moved to Fenerbahce last year from Spartak Moscow, but the Turkish club are happy to make some quick cash if the move happens.
Emenike has always wanted to play in the Premiership. “I have always dreamed of playing in England.
“If I get the opportunity to play in England – I wouldn’t turn it down,” he said in a previous interview.
