Mokotjo's Brentford hold Leeds

Mokotjo returned to the line-up for Brentford after starting the last game on the bench.

The encounter got off to a slow start, with the game's first chance arriving after 23 minutes as Tyler Roberts forced Luke Daniels into a low save from the edge of the box.

Brentford went agonsingly close to taking the lead six minutes later when Olli Watkins rattled the crossbar with a deflected effort from the edge of the box.

Leeds' best chance of the half on the stroke of halftime as Samuel Saiz collected pass from Ezgjan Alioski and let rip from the edge of the box, but his effort deflected inches wide of the post.

On the hour mark, Brentford were awarded a penalty when Watkins was brought down in the box. Neal Maupay stepped up and slotted home to put the visitors ahead.

Leeds pushed for an equaliser and they were eventually rewarded in the 88th minute, with Pontus Jansson rising high to head past Daniels, while defender Luke Aylings was sent off two minutes later for a second yellow card.

In the end, 1-1 was how the encounter finished, as Bafana's Mokotjo played the full 90 minutes for the visitors.
