Borussia Dortmund 5-1 Hannover

Borussia Dortmund opened up a nine-point lead at the top of the table with an emphatic 5-1 victory over Hannover on Saturday afternoon.

Achraf Hakimi opened the scoring in the 24th minute before Marco Reus and Mario Gotze extended the lead.

Raphael Guerreiro put Dortmund out of sight in the 67th minute while Marvin Bakalorz pulled a goal back for Hannover four minutes before time, only for Axel Witsel to make it 5-1 late on.

Borussia Monchengladbach 2-0 Augsburg

Borussia Monchengladbach clinched a 2-0 win over Augsburg on Saturday afternoon.

Oscar Wendt broke the deadlock for the hosts 12 minutes before time and Patrick Herrmann made the three points safe with a second goal deep in stoppage time.

Freiburg 2-4 Hoffenheim

Andrej Kramaric netted a brace to inspire Hoffenheim to a 4-2 thrashing of Freiburg on Saturday afternoon.

Joelinton opened the scoring for the visitors in the 19th minute and Lucas Holer equalised for Freiburg three minutes before the break.

However, Hoffenheim restored the lead through Kramaric a minute before the hour-mark from the penalty spot before the Croatian forward made it 3-1 for the visitors in the 72nd minute.

Florian Niederlechner pulled a goal back for Freiburg 13 minutes before time but Kerem Demirbay sealed all the three points for Hoffenheim making it 2-4 five minutes before time.

Mainz 2-1 Nürnberg

Robin Quaison netted the winner as Mainz defeated Nürnberg 2-1 on Saturday afternoon.

Daniel Brosinski grabbed the lead for the hosts in the 12th minute from the penalty spot while Georg Margreitter brought parity for Nürnberg two minutes before the break.

Quaison got the winner for Mainz in the 73rd minute for vital three points.

Wolfsburg 0-3 Bayer Leverkusen

Bayer Leverkusen cruised to a 3-0 win over Wolfsburg on Saturday.

Kai Havertz broke the deadlock for Leverkusen on the stroke of halftime after the visitors were awarded a penalty while Kevin Volland and Julian Brandt sealed all the three points in the second haf.

Werder Bremen 2-2 Eintracht Frankfurt

Werder Bremen and Eintracht Frankfurt were involved in a four-goal thriller that ended in a 2-2 stalemate on Saturday.

Maximilian Eggestein broke the deadlock for Bremen in the 27th minute and Ante Rebic equalised for Frankfurt ten minutes before the break.

Martin Harnik restored the lead for the hosts seven minutes after the break but only for Sebastien Haller to bring parity for Eintracht in the 68th minute from the penalty spot as the sides shared the spoils.
