The hosts, who are in Group A with Cameroon, Mexico and Croatia, are in action on Thursday when they kick-off the tournament against Croatia in Sao Paulo.
Brazil are tipped by many to win the tournament but Ramires admits they are feeling the added pressure of expectation.
"I think the question of winning is everywhere. Every game that Brazil is going to play, we have the pressure to win it," the midfielder told Sky Sports News.
"Because of this we are all anxious, all of the players, but they're all experienced and they have worked through difficult times in their careers before," he added.
