Bay United bid for Bucs’ Luntu Mazana

Mazana has been in good form since joining United at the beginning of the year and was of the best performers for the newly-promoted PSL side during the First Division play-offs.

The Port Elizabeth-born midfielder also scored goal for Watsh'Umlilo during their promotion final against FC AK at Wolfson Stadium on Sunday.

United’s manager Senzo Mazingiza has confirmed to that they have opened negotiations with Pirates for Mazana’s services as Bucs put him on transfer last month.

“We want to keep almost the entire squad that helped the team gain promotion to PSL. We have already started negotiations with Pirates for Mazana and we are confident that he will be our officially next season.”

Mazingiza added that they were also engaged in negotiations with Puma to be their technical sponsor next season.

Bay United have already confirmed that they will retain coach Vladislav Heric after he helped the team gain promotion.
