Garcia is yet to play this season after sustaining the injury during the club’s pre-season camp in Durban.
He had only been back with the club for under a month having initially been offloaded at the end of last season.
“This injury is still bothering me,” Garcia tells KickOff.com.
“I am only still working in the gym and not on the field just as yet. My biggest hope is to be back in January but I don’t know if it will happen because I don’t even know what it is that is making this injury taking so long. If it wasn’t anything bad then I should have at least been back at full training by now but then I am still not back as yet.
"My concern is that I don’t feel any pain when I do gym work including cycling yet I can’t be on the field as yet. It is frustrating. I didn’t do any operation. All that I have done to date is rehabilitation while taking medication,” says Garcia.
The 28-year-old joined Baroka in January from Highlands Park and remains under contract with the Limpopo club until June.
